Ear Piercing

We offer in-office ear piercing for our patients using the Blomdahl piercing system.


The Blomdahl system is developed entirely upon what is known as “modern aseptic technique” within the health care industry. This means that all products and methods are safely designed to avoid the spreading of infection and exposure to nickel allergy during the piercing process. The sterile method guarantees that the piercing is hygienic and safe.

We recommend piercing your baby's ears after their 2 month checkup. That way, they've received their first round of vaccines and their earlobes have had time to grow and develop. *Please be advised that Dr. Diogene will not pierce your child's ears if they haven't received at least one dose of DTaP.*


The cost for ear piercing is $90 for established patients of TruCare Pediatrics, $100 for non-patients. This includes the procedure, the earrings, and after care counseling and instructions.
